Epping Forest MP Eleanor Laing officially opens new women's only gym in Loughton

A new women’s only gym in Loughton has been officially opened by Epping Forest MP Eleanor Laing.

Simply Fitness has been opened in Caxton House in Old Station Road by business partners Emma Watson and Sarah Metcalfe after nine months of planning.
Mrs Laing said: “This is a great innovation. Most women are too busy for a conventional gym so the idea that you can just pop in for half-an-hour is really brilliant.

“I’m particularly impressed by the childcare facilities and by the relaxed atmosphere.

“I hope I might even find half-an-hour to go their myself!”
Emma said: “We are trying to break down the barriers and help people get more active and fitter by creating a friendly, informal and fun place to exercise, which is accessible to all women regardless of their age, size or fitness level.”
