Waltham Abbey Blues Fishing Presentation

Waltham Abbey Blues Fishing Club held their annual awards presentation at Waltham Holy Cross Conservative Club on Saturday evening (19th April). The awards were presented by Epping Forest MP, Eleanor Laing, pictured here with Vic Poysner (left) who won the overall Champion's Cup, and Norman Baker (right), Chairman of the Club.

Mrs Laing congratulated everyone who won an award, saying that the Club seemed to be going from strength to strength and the results seem to get better every year. She also congratulated Norman Baker on being elected Chairman of the Eastern Region Committee of the Association of Conservative Clubs and thanked him for all the work he and his wife, Carol, do, not only for the Waltham Abbey Club but also for the national network of clubs which is so important.
